| Sacred Mother Tongue video "Anger On Reflection" Released |
|
We are pleased to announce the release of the video for Sacred Mother Tongues' "Anger On Reflection" taken from the album "The Ruin of Man", filmed and produced by The Dark Box, directed, filmed and edited by Mark Smith and Matt Chapman with the steady hand of Pols who did the important makeup, dressing of the band and general taking care of all the "men". The animation was originally a part of the album artwork and animated for our use by Ben Evenden.
It was filmed at the old EMI Factory in Hayes, London over two days of which we would like to thank Ciaran Mitchell of The Work Space Group for allowing us to make as much noise as we liked. "Sacred Mother Tongue are one of the most exciting young Metal bands to emerge from the UK in a good number of years. They are not a scene band, they are not following anybody else’s game plan, and what they are doing is as much for them, as it is for increasing their profile or selling their records. Following the chart success of their first single release in 2008, the band kicked off 2009 with appearances at Hellfire and Hammerfest, swiftly followed by a 25 date headline UK tour to coincide with the release of their highly acclaimed debut album ‘The Ruin of Man’. The band continue their monumental rise with a 2nd stage appearance at this years Download Festival." - Transcend Records
